New documentary features “Mambo No. 5” singer Lou Bega turning to Jesus.
“The Last Reformation II: The Life” explores a new discipleship movement which is changing the lives of thousands of people, including Grammy Award nominated pop star Lou Bega, who also wrote music for this movie.
The Last Reformation (TLR), announced today that “The Last Reformation II: The Life” will have a theatrical premiere in theater Tuschinski, Amsterdam on February 24, 2018, and will be released worldwide on March 31, 2018, on Youtube and DVD. During the whole of March the movie is available for exclusive screenings.
From the living room of a pop-star, to a homeless man on the streets in Brazil, this movie shows extraordinary and authentic moments of lives surrendered to Jesus, both the hardships and victories. Audiences are invited to experience the movement that is growing all around the world as people discover what it truly means to become disciples of Jesus. This film shows things that have never been captured on video before, such as the impressive moment when Lou Bega and his entire household was overcome with the Holy Spirit and got baptized in water. This will remind you of stories from the Bible.
“We are very excited to show the world the growing impact of what God is doing,” said Torben Søndergaard, founder of TLR. “The first film ‘The Last Reformation: The Beginning’ has close to a million views on Youtube and has been featured on different TV stations around the world. It reveals how far Christianity has gone from its roots and how we need to return to the simple and powerful truths we read about in the Bible. The sequel film, ‘The Last Reformation II: The Life’ shows how people live out the truth of Jesus in their everyday life.” Lou Bega said: “It is way better than winning a Grammy nomination, or becoming a football world champion or whatever. This is just the real deal.” The film’s director, Lebo Akatio, said, “This new film builds on the success of the first one with a truly honest view of what it means to be a disciple.”

The Last Reformation is a network of Christians that started in 2011 with a book of the same name, and has grown into a group of thousands of believers who are committed to making disciples in their daily life. The network hosts training weekends called Kickstarts, in which regular people get equipped to live the uncomplicated and supernatural life Jesus and his disciples had. Additionally, it has 5 full-time Pioneer Training Schools and 3 Jesus Cafés in different countries. The group believes in Bible-based teaching, hands-on discipleship training, and that everyone who believes in Jesus can follow his commands to heal the sick, cast out demons, and baptize others in His name.
